From several days ago. I haven't read the Reclusive Leftist in a bit but this one certainly reflects my feelings as of late. I'm gravitating more and more towards the PUMAs.

In order to keep at least one party on the straight and narrow in this country, we have to kick the Democrats in the teeth so hard that their heads ring like church bells. They need to be slapped down from this precipice so hard that they never, ever, EVER consider pulling shit like this again.

someone has to keep the people in check. without this maneuvering we'd have the same old party. so the higher ups played with the rules, the result is OBAMA, can't complain. that is why they made superdelegates, to fix the screw ups of the voters, this time voters being the assholes who supported clinton
well, all may be well for you, but all is not well with the party establishment, the set-up they derived had 2 goals and they only achieved one, selecting their nominee, the other goal, of permanently eliminating the clintons was not achieved, they underestimated their appeal and now have to suck up to them in hopes of winning over the voters that recognize the primary was a fraud, but they miss the point, us being pissed has nothing to do with her, it's about the rigged primary you seem to have no problem with. voters should count even when they aren't naive enough to join the trend of the chosen one
If not now, when? We have to hold our own party accountable, look what the Republicans did when their constituents voted for them no matter what. Obama was on the stump today as a pro-lifer for the love of god!

There, the left is it's own enemy. Power creates corruption, we lost power when we abused it, the Repubs abused the hell out of it and lost it again in seconds flat and we appear to do the same. Sarah- his stance this week on abortion is more than disheartening and his FISA position now seems to indicate he wants those same powers now that he thinks he will be president, so of course his viewpoint has changed.
