Battle for Congress Suddenly Looks Competitive:

A potential shift in fortunes for the Republicans in Congress is seen in the latest USA Today/Gallup survey, with the Democrats now leading the Republicans by just 3 percentage points, 48% to 45%, in voters' "generic ballot" preferences for Congress. This is down from consistent double-digit Democratic leads seen on this measure over the past year.

this is my biggest worry, if obama tanks or draws a large turnout to vote against him, you really have to worry about the downticket dems who will suffer. we weren't supposed to be able to possibly lose this but i guess its the risk they had to take to say bye bye to the clintons. but all their assumptions have been wrong, he's not even moneybags anymore. nobody misunderstands the electorate better than the democrat leadership. i just read an article in our independent that cast obama as an outsider, on what planet. he is the dnc
