I confess once again it has been quite some time since my last post and visit to Hutieville. I suck. But I was super amused with Dave's penis iceberg post! For the love! It really is a penis!
I am making the cake for Cindy's babyshower tomorrow, Sunday 10/05., and here is the prototype, ladies and gentelmen! Let's see what it actually ends up looking like - I usually just kind of go with the flow. I shall report back post-Cindy's baby shower in the next few days with the results. I have been working on it 5 hours so far, off and on with many smoke and booze breaks (is that unsanitary?), and the cake is now fully torted, filled, crumb-coated and now chilling. The question that remains is: do I power on through, whip up the buttercream, trim, frost, stack and build? Do I just whip up the buttercream and then be ready for final build and deco in the AM? Or do I just have a Tecate and Parliament Light instead? TBD friends, TBD.
